Phantom Quartz 3
Phantom quartz is a unique type of quartz crystal that features a distinct, ghost-like outline of a smaller crystal trapped inside. It forms when a crystal's growth stops due to changing environmental conditions, a layer of minerals settles on it, and then clear quartz starts growing over it again. This specimen is displayed in a 1-inch display cube with an identification label. For safe shipping, the specimen will be removed from the cube and carefully packaged separately. The display cube with the label and reusable museum-quality adhesive putty will be included with your order.
